Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most famous role was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending the Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued were in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career in Chicago-area theatres for a couple of years. She then moved on to TV and film. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when Anna was a frequent guest in TV and film like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully and Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional career. Gunn took the stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final seasons of Walter White.
